How will Dubai’s new pedestrian bridge make transfers between the Metro and Etihad Rail easier for passengers?

D Day of Dubai Asked 11 hours, 41 minutes ago

Dubai has opened a new pedestrian bridge connecting Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station with Etihad Rail’s Dubai Al Yalayis Station, allowing passengers to transfer between the Metro’s Red Line and inter-emirate train services without needing a taxi. The enclosed walkway features escalators and moving walkways, with the journey taking approximately five to seven minutes. Passengers can access it through Metro Station Exits 1 and 2 and follow directional signs to the rail station. The connection brings together the Dubai Metro, RTA buses and Etihad Rail, making journeys to Abu Dhabi and Fujairah more convenient. The existing shuttle bus service remains available for passengers carrying luggage, travelling with children or preferring not to walk. The bridge completes a more direct, sheltered link between the two transport networks.
