Although CBSE schools in the UAE typically have a six- to eight-week summer break and a two- to three-week winter break, education experts stress that these periods include significant work behind the scenes and should not be viewed as conventional annual leave. Teachers say the breaks offer a balance of rest, professional growth, and preparation to ensure students have a successful learning experience when the new term begins.
