Can UAE insurers reject your rain damage claim—and what do people think about it?

It depends: under regulations overseen by the Central Bank of the UAE, if you have comprehensive motor insurance, rain or flood damage is generally covered as an external event unless specifically excluded in your policy, but if you only hold third-party insurance, insurers can legally رفض (reject) claims for damage to your own vehicle; claims may also be denied in cases of negligence, misuse, or policy violations—so what’s your view, do you think insurance companies are fair in handling such claims, or do policy terms make it too easy for them to deny payouts?
