Dubai is set to welcome a captivating theatrical experience as The Lost Mirror, a Russian musical play inspired by the works of writer and artist Pavel Pepperstein, takes the stage at Zabeel Theatre on 1 December. The production, suitable for adults and children aged six and above, features a distinguished cast including Alexander Gudkov, Evgenia Borzykh and Kirill Ivanov.

The story follows a magical hand mirror with the extraordinary ability to fulfil the deepest desires of its owners. Throughout the narrative, the mirror outwits thieves, converses with characters such as Trumo and the Mermaid Professor, and ventures into unexpected worlds. The stage design incorporates video decorations and Pepperstein’s signature illustrations, creating a visual experience that is both surreal and immersive. Costumes add to the whimsical atmosphere, blending literal interpretations with imaginative, dreamlike elements.
