One of the highlights of the Abu Dhabi Summer Season 2015 is the Illuminaire, Fire and Light Spectacular that is all set to vow you with an incredible night of entertainment! Drawing deeply from mythology, ancient cultures and a vision of an enlightened future, Illuminaire leads audiences on a mystical journey through timeless space. Originally, shows learned and played with movement techniques from cultures visited during travels around the world. Then they developed and combined these techniques with modern circus elements, concert/stadium based special effects and the dynamism of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance as well as electronic sound production, creating a new energetic, eclectic style of performance. Phoenix is the worlds leading fire performance company. Since 1990 they have been weaving fiery magic and surreal colourscapes across the globe, viewed by millions live and several billion on TV, creating cutting-edge shows for a wide variety of entertainment requirements. Their team consists of international and Olympic athletes, dancers, musicians, martial artists, visual artists and technical experts. Each individual is a master at his or her own discipline, as well as being skilled in many different aspects of the company to produce a well-oiled and multi-talented team. The show design team has long led the way in turning fantasy into onstage reality. Characters and scenes from the realm of pure imagination captivate the audiences with marvellous, otherworldly beauty. The show is the highest calibre combination of the best of Phoenix. Their dancers, acrobats, gymnasts and high altitude aerial artists are synergised with music, huge fire effects, liquid light effects, light effects, projection, multimedia, pyrotechnics and fireworks into a totally stunning impact. Combined with original stage design, decorative art installations and beautiful costumes, the show creates simply one of the most impressive large-scale shows ever made.
