Description

This conference, DigitalHR Middle East Africa (MEA), will focus on driving results through data and technology for HR practitioners across the Middle East and Africa by presenting and discussing global best practice and reconciling it with local market know-how and insights.

We will hear from seasoned HR industry leaders from across MEA on what forward-thinking organisations are currently doing to optimise talent acquisition and enhance the 'employee experience' by utilising different technologies, digital platforms and leveraging data.

CIPD
We will be joined by CIPD, a professional body for HR and people development with hubs in the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Asia and over 100,000 members globally.

In the CIPD presentation, 'The Future of Work is Human', Ramy Bayyour, General Manager, CIPD - Middle East, will share insights into the pressing need to revisit the role of humans at the precipice of great technological disruption.

Artificial intelligence for more informed decision-making
David van Lochem, Vice-President Sales, Middle East and Africa, KPISOFT and Co-Founder Augmented Workforce, will share insights into how artificial intelligence can help leaders make more informed decisions based on raw data to illuminate the path forward and not just as past indicators of performance.

The Psychometrics Centre, University of Cambridge
Dr. David Stillwell, Academic Director and Vesselin Popov, Executive Director, The Psychometrics Centre, University of Cambridge, will deliver a two-part workshop in the afternoon on big data opportunities for HR and responsible implementation.

The workshop will present a framework that distinguishes big data from data and present some state-of-the-art examples where organisations have leveraged these new technologies to generate value in their HR functions. It will also provide an in-depth review of the challenges to implementation of Big Data practices and how to overcome them.
