Turkey has enhanced its status as a leading vacation destination for the Middle East's residents: during 2015, visitor numbers from the area climbed to nearly 3 million, marking a substantial boost from 2014. Visitor numbers from the UAE scaled approximately 51,600 visitors-- a near 19 % boost from the 43,469 visitors in 2014.
