Regions Laundry Industry Set to Grow by 20% in 2015

The growth of construction, hospitality, and healthcare verticals have led to a new range of commercial cleaning services setting up shop in the Middle East, with industry players targeting a 20% growth for 2015.
Furthermore, on the backdrop of Qatar 2022 and Dubais successful Expo 2020 bid, the hospitality sector is looking to add around 45,000 rooms in Qatar and about 280 new hotels in Dubai, fuelling steady growth, leading to companies, especially in the service industry to step up their quality of linen solutions.
Commenting on the linen care industry in the region, Alireza Najmechi, CEO, Natronic International Inc,who will be exhibiting at the Middle East Cleaning Technology Week, said, The commercial laundry business in UAE is improving like all other sectors, gradually but steadily. Using new industrial laundry methods will improve production with better finishing and reducing running cost, such as labor, utility consumption, even environment pollution. As there are so many projects in process, as well as the incoming EXPO 2020 and with the government emphasizing on boosting tourism and rise of many hotels, we are anticipating consistent growth at least for the next five years.
The hospitality and healthcare sectors are growing rapidly in the GCC region creating a demand for commercial laundry services. Linens and towels are vital brand touch points for any hotel, a matter of pride in delivering that quality and uniqueness consistently to their customers. Companies dealing in accessories for institutional laundry, commercial, central laundry, healthcare laundry, and linen suppliers, chemical suppliers, dry cleaning and dyeing equipment are entering the competitive GCC market.
