Over 300 Middle East doctors gather in Dubai to discuss latest updates on various medical fields

Around 350 distinguished physicians of various specialties from all over the Middle East arrived in the UAE this month to attend separate medical conferences called Bayer Day organized to go over the most recent advancements and patterns in their particular fields. Skin specialists, gynecologists, cardiologists, and otolaryngologists from the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt went to separate events at
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai to participate in top-level discussions, connect with their peers, and exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices.

During Bayer Day, high-profile regional and global physicians provided extensive lectures on a vast array of vital subjects throughout the meetings covering Dermatology, Gynecology, Allergy & Cardiology restorative areas.

The events came at a time when the region led by the UAE is heightening its efforts to provide world-class health care services. Non-communicable illness kill 38 million people across the word each year per the data from the World Health Organization.

On allergy conference, attended to topics were; recent concepts of allergic rhinitis care, ramifications of allergy on later life and the factors behind the increasing allergy cases.

On dermatology, topics gone over were management of androgenic alopecia, a thorough review of acne management and atopic dermatitis, reliable use of moisturizers for maximum results, and updates on sophisticated laser treatment for face and periorbital rejuvenation. When it comes to the conference for obstetricians and gynecologists, the program consisted of conversations on health related problems in pregnant ladies, most current patterns in cosmetic gynecology, weight problems in pregnancy, and very little access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopy surgical treatment), among others.

The conference for cardiologists covered the list below topics: severe coronary syndrome, current methods for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation in 2016, present management of hyperlipidemia, resynchronization gadget treatment for cardiac arrest, antiplatelet guideline, and new onset chest pain.
