Ministry of Health & Prevention Hosts Second Meeting of GCCs Central Registration Committee for Medical Devices & Manufacturers

The Ministry of Health and Prevention recently hosted the 2nd meeting of the GCC Health Council's Central Registration Committee for Medical Tools and their Producers in Dubai under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, the Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Plan and Licensing. Also existing throughout the conference were Dr. Hajed bin Mohammed, Deputy Director General of the GCC Health Council, and other top-level representatives from the member countries.

H.E. Dr. Al Amiri claimed: "Following the outstanding success of the Gulf Commission for Enrollment and Pricing, the GCC nations have decided to create a joint board governing the main registration of medical gadgets and worried suppliers. The committee controls and standardizes the acquisition of medical tools in accordance with global criteria to ensure the optimal choice of products and medical devices being used in the region."
