In support of the UAE Net Zero 2050 ENOC collaborates with SAP and Moro Hub to accelerate the sustainable digital transformation of its operations

In line with the UAE Net Zero 2050 strategy, ENOC Group, a leading global energy player, has announced a strategic partnership with SAP, the global leader in enterprise application software, and Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (PJSC). This collaboration aims to bolster cloud solutions within the group through 'RISE with SAP,' a comprehensive business transformation solution hosted on Moro Hub's Green Data Centre, ensuring sustainable digitalization.

The partnership facilitates ENOC's acceleration of its cloud journey through a unified package, encompassing SAP S/4HANA Cloud as a core component. This move underscores the group's commitment to the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy, contributing to its sustainable transformation towards a more resilient, agile, and responsive operation.

H. E. Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at ENOC, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating, "Our partnership with SAP and Moro Hub is a statement of our commitment to the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy and a milestone in our Group's sustainable transformation."

Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice Chairman & Group CEO of Digital DEWA, highlighted the role of Moro Hub as an enabler of sustainable progress, stating, "RISE with SAP hosted in Moro Hub's Green Data Centre will play a pivotal role in shaping a greener and more digitally advanced future for the UAE and businesses alike."

The Green Data Centre, holding the Guinness World Record for the largest solar-powered data centre, exemplifies sustainability and innovation. Inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the facility operates entirely on renewable energy sources and is carbon-neutral, reflecting Moro Hub's commitment to environmental stewardship.

Manos Raptopoulos, President, EMEA South, SAP, highlighted the significance of the collaboration, stating, "The implementation of RISE with SAP marks a significant milestone in our long-standing partnership with ENOC and Moro Hub. By harnessing the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA hosted on Moro's green data centre, ENOC is setting a new standard for sustainable innovations."
