HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), in adherence with the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, noted that DEWA is working to execute the strategic plan set by Dubai's Future Agenda, to boost government effectiveness, while adhering to a clear and integrated technique based upon innovation. DEWA abides by a clear and integrated method based on innovation, and works to even more execute new initiatives, while constantly supporting Research and Development (R&D) projects, to deal with fast technical development.

DEWA's works to discover ingenious solutions through the use of innovation and big data, to study the behavior of consumers. DEWA also makes use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV's) to help in the energy and water sectors.
