ENOC bans tobacco sales for 24 hours

The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has actually banned tobacco products sale for 24 hours, throughout its all ENOC and EPPCO filling station network in the UAE. The move remained in support of the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD), an international initiative released by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and its partners.

WNTD is observed on May 31 every year, and intends to motivate a 24-hour period of abstinence from all forms of tobacco usage around the globe. The day is planned to draw attention on the extensive occurrence of tobacco use and the negative health effects on non-smokers.

The WHO encourages concerned authorities all over the world to reduce tobacco product sale in general, specifically on WNTD.
