Emirates NBD is currently the initial UAE-based financial entity to be authorized by 'SCA - Stocks and Commodities Authority as a 'General Clearing Member' supplying clearing and negotiation services to trading participants of the UAE's equity markets.

The signing ceremony happened in the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Maryam Buti Al Suwaidi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Licensing, Guidance and Enforcement, Assistant Under Assistant, SCA - Stocks and Commodities Authority; Khalid Al Shaikh - 'SCA Head of Licensing; Hassan Al Serkal, Head of Operations Department of Dubai Financial Market (DFM); Maryam Mohd Fekri - Head of Clearing up, Settlement and Vault Division of Dubai Financial Market (DFM); and Mohamed Al Muhairi - Head of Clearing, Settlement and Vault Department of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and senior authorities from Emirates NBD and Delma Brokerage.
