Emirates NBD celebrates graduation of 236 UAE Nationals

Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, commemorated the graduation of 236 UAE Nationals from its Al Misha'al and Programme for Accelerated Learning (PAL) programs.

The bank honoured 51 PAL graduates and 185 Al Misha'al graduates at a prominent ceremony held at Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies in Dubai.

Talking about the success of the programmes, Husam Al Sayed, General Manager Group Human Resources, Emirates NBD, said: "Emirates NBD has actually been a strong supporter of UAE leadership's vision of Emiratisation and we are proud to welcome a new batch of skilled young UAE nationals to the Emirates NBD household. Our training programmes reflect our commitment not just to employ gifted UAE Nationals, however also nurturing and empowering them to take up intricate job functions in the banking sector. We are confident that these talented people will play a significant function in accomplishing the bank's long-term ambitions in addition to the wider monetary services sector in the region.

BUDDY is a 6-month intense training programme aimed at individual and expert advancement of young UAE Nationals, providing training modules covering a variety of areas including, complicated banking systems, discussion skills, delegation abilities, motivation theories, and training and therapy, to name a few. The training also includes on the job training, equipping PAL students to acquire banking experience whilst preparing them for a range of Assistant Manager or Officer functions within the bank.

To even more support the Nationalisation efforts, Emirates NBD also supplies a variety of training and mentoring programmes under its Al Misha'al program, which is targeted at High School graduates. The program inducts high school finishes into the bank following three months of rigorous training in different occupational topics such as banking operations, branch automation, and customer support, among others.

The most recent batch of Al Misha'al and PAL graduates will take up jobs in the bank throughout different business systems, including Retail Banking, IT, Finance, Wholesale Banking, Treasury, among others.
