Discovery Channels Venom Hunters Debuts in the Middle East on July 12

New Discovery Channel series 'VENOM HUNTERS' follows 4 teams of specialist snake hunters as they travel the world searching for the deadliest snakes known to man. While each hunter prospers on the excitement of the chase, they all share the same supreme objective - saving the lives of others. From the Florida swamplands and the plains of Oklahoma, to the Australian outback and Arizona desert, the teams risk their lives with every action. And with over 600 species of venomous snakes worldwide, one wrong move could truly be their last.

Every year, venomous snakes eliminate over 100,000 individuals and hospitalize thousands more. Regardless of these shocking statistics, venom is also used to save lives in the production of anti-venom and in cutting-edge medical research research.
