Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has launched its 6th Science Week under the theme Innovative Emirati Engineer. University teachers, college students, and a number of DEWA's representatives and staff members took part. The theme 'Innovative Emirati Engineer' reflects DEWA's commitment to supporting Emiratisation, and enhancing the abilities of Emirati engineers, making them capable of innovation, to actively contribute to accomplishing DEWA's objectives. This adheres to the vision of the UAEs wise leadership.

"I am delighted to invite you all to DEWA's 6th Science Week, which is being held under the theme 'Innovative Emirati Engineer,' with the participation of university teachers, university and college students, and a number of DEWA's representatives and staff members. The strategy also aims to increase Dubais total power output from clean energy to 7% by 2020, 25% by 2030, and to 75% by 2050, said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA.
