DEWA is the first government organisation to host Youth Circles in cooperation with Emirates Youth Council

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will host a Youth Circle session early next week. HE Shamma bint Sohail Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, will participate in the session whose theme is 'Youth and Sustainability'. The session is one of the Youth Circles effort introduced by the Minister of Youth Affairs and approved by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

HE Shamma Al Mazrouei praised DEWA's positive approach towards hosting the Youth Circle, which shows its great interest in supporting youths, and its commitment to sharing their concepts and views for the sustainable advancement. Al Mazrouei also applauded the reaction by other government organisations that revealed their preparedness to organise and host Youth Circles, to include the largest number of youths. She stressed that this shows the significance of the initiative, adds to attaining its objectives, and enriches it, in line with the Emirates Youth Council's strategy to reach out to all young people across the UAE, and listen to them.

"The youth are the future, and hearing their views, ideas, and suggestions is futuristic thinking. Youth Circles show the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to assist and utilize youths's abilities and prospective, to reach a future government, which depends upon innovation and knowledge as bases for global leadership," stated Al Mazrouei.

Al Mazrouei emphasised that Youth Circles are open platforms for communication, exchanging opinions, and suggesting solutions for difficulties dealt with by the youth. They allow young people to voice their ingenious concepts and aspirations for the future. Youth Circles are essential tools to prepare the youth for success and to understand their needs. They also act as a sign to determine future approaches towards achieving the happiness and wellbeing of Emiratis.

"We are pleased to be the very first government organisation to host the Youth Circles, among the initiatives approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as part of the Action Plan of the Minister of State for Youth Affairs. The effort supports the vision of His Highness to include the youth in the advancement process, and his instructions to promote interaction with Emirati youth to learn their ideas and views. DEWA works to promote positive energy amongst its personnel by providing a pleased and positive workplace that motivates imagination and innovation, and improves work in general. DEWA interacts with young people and listens to their concepts and tips, and makes recommendations to assist them achieve their passions.

The Council likewise introduced a smart platform to enhance the Youth Circles conversations and broaden their reach to the largest variety of UAE youth. The Emirates Youth Council supervises and manages the Youth Circles, which are conversation platforms regularly organised in different areas.
