Collaborative Manufacturing Approach Key to Resolving Customer Issues, says Yosuke Takagi at Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit Interview

Yosuke Takagi, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan, addressed the audience on day one of the Global Production and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS). Throughout his keynote speech, Takagi stressed on the demand for innovative solutions for a lasting future, and he complimented the Summit for seeking innovation in manufacturing and industry.

" The Fourth Industrial Change is changing production," he said. "Production has to take a collaborative strategy to fixing customer concerns. A connected industry is something that we envision for Japan, and GMIS is in line with this direction. We have shown our assistance for GMIS by protecting the biggest event space at the event, and we welcome individuals in the UAE to come and visit our room to see the technologies that Japan needs to offer.

He included: "Japan and the UAE have an excellent financial partnership. We have been collaborating for more than 40 years, particularly in terms of energy. We hope that GMIS will encourage much more Japanese business to find to the UAE, and our team believe that this event is a good chance for everybody getting involved."

The inaugural Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit is occurring at the Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi, UAE, up until March 30, 2017, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Leader of the UAE Army.
