Barclays Continues to Expand Private Bank Team in MENA

Barclays announced today the visit of Bjorn Holderbeke as MENA Head of Global Investments and Solutions (GIS) for its Private Bank.

Based in Dubai, Holderbeke will be responsible for item and platform growth and will certainly liaise with subject experts to assist in developing and supplying bespoke investment material to clients across the MENA region.

Francesco Grosoli, Barclays' Head of the Private Bank for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), said: "This visit complies with Barclays' recent
announcement about our growth approach for the Private Bank and is key to our plans to continue to enhance and grow our award winning team in the
region."

Over the previous 15 years, Bjorn has held a variety of senior positions across regional and global financial institutions; these include Head of Financial investment Counseling at ABN AMRO Private Bank, Head of Financial investment Therapy for the Middle East Group at Emirates NBD Private Bank, and Financial investment Advisor at Citi Private Bank. Bjorn holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Entrepreneurial Leadership from Tufts University.
