Bahri leads Push for Saudi Arabias Entry Into IMO Executive Council

In line with its consistent support to Saudi government campaigns and the function it is playing in increasing the global maritime trade development, senior agents from Bahri joined other members of a KSA delegation recently in joining board conferences of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), which occurred at the firm's head office in London, UK. The conferences come as part of the Kingdom's preparation works to submit its candidateship for the subscription of the IMO Council under Classification (C).

Senior Bahri officials who joined the discussions consisted of Wael Al-Sarhan, Senior Vice President - Marketing, and Abdulaziz Sabri, Vice President, Bahri Ship Management.

As part of its efforts to display the progress made by Saudi Arabia in enhancing maritime security and framework and present the Kingdom's case for election to the Council - which is the peak body in charge of overseeing the work of the Organization - Bahri hosted a morning meal conference for IMO members yesterday throughout which the guests reviewed the initiatives started by the numerous stakeholders.

" Bahri has a long practice of sustaining Saudi government campaigns and standing for the nation at important regional and international meetings and conferences to advance the credibility of the Kingdom's delivery industry and advertise its calculated interests," said Wael Al-Sarhan, Senior Vice President - Marketing, Bahri.
