Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children celebrates "Hag el Layla" in collaboration with the Culture and Arts Authority

The involvement of hundreds of children from various nationalities and collaboration with Culture and Arts Authority of Dubai, made the celebration of "Hag el Layla" occasion at AJCCC a grand success. The activities that individuals delighted in with their families most were conventional Emirati dance efficiencies, henna art, portions of conventional food, falcon photography and video games.

The existence of Emirati artist Ahmed Mal Allah included great enjoyment to the musical session as participants taken pleasure in old folk games revived to the beat of conventional music. The "Hag el Layla" event belongs to the series of community events that is arranged by AJCCC to instill heritage and traditional values amongst young minds. Some of the partnering organisations that stepped forward to connect to the neighborhood along with AJCCC and Culture and Arts Authority of Dubai, were Patchi, Al Barza restaurant and Crochet Flowers.

Happy with the outcome of the occasion, the overwhelming response of community and sponsors and the response of kids to heritage inspired activities, Bushra Al Rahoomi, program director, stated: "We are proud to present opportunities for young members of our neighborhood to engage with our wonderful past, the creative practices namely in music, arts and craftsmanship. These interactions are often arranged within the annual calendar of Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children, as we are dedicated to inspire a generation of the future whose values was established on the knowings of the past. Be it food, style, music or arts, events like "Hag el Layla" are key to preparing our children, boosting their skills and imagination in addition to knowledge to lead the world."
