Air Cairo completes successful migration to Amadeus Alta and seals distribution agreement

As flight in the Middle East continues to deliver strong growth, Air Cairo, an Egypt-based carrier linking the Middle East and Europe, has placed itself to benefit from the boost in air traffic through a brand-new contract with Amadeus for both IT and distribution services.

Throughout June 2016, Air Cairo effectively finished its cutover to Amadeus' Alta Reservation and Inventory and Amadeus e-Commerce modules, whilst also signing for a full content distribution arrangement. The migration to Alta Reservation will enable the airline to increase booking and revenue growth through wide-reaching distribution channels, whilst Alta Inventory provides the airline with the latest schedule management technology in the market place.

Air Cairo has typically operated as a Low Cost/ Charter Airline however is part method through an enthusiastic evolution focused on becoming a Full Service Carrier.
