Dubai, UAE - 20 December, 2016: ACE Hardware, the world's largest hardware retail cooperative, is to open up initially Avenue in Dubai's Motor City, strengthening the shopping center's retail partnerships in advance of the planned opening early following year.

ACE will be First Opportunity's primary support retail occupant, operating on the ground floor throughout a location of practically 6,500 sq/ft. It will certainly offer a catchment area of greater than 30,000 residents, with clusters like the Green Community and Uptown drawing young professionals and families.

ACE stores offer a wide variety of hardware products to maintain and repair houses and businesses.

"The rate of demographic development in Motor City is quick and first Avenue will help offer strong need for a unique retail and hospitality experience," said Dr Ramy Moussly, General Manager of Al Tawfeeq for Growth and Investment, the Saudi Arabian owner and driver of First Avenue. "We are delighted to have ACE as our primary anchor retail tenant. The shop signs up with various other popular brand names like Carrefour in supplying consumers a holistic retail experience. By the time we open early next year, First Method will have 70 high-street sellers and 15 informal dining restaurants. In addition to that, a four-star 150-room hotel, operated by Park Inn by Radisson, will join the shopping mall, neglecting the race course in Dubai Autodrome," he said.

The backers of the AED500 million First Method project are positioning it as an all-week- round destination for residents, tourists, households and business community. Along with stores and restaurants, it will certainly have health care services, a children's entertainment location, and a 400-space underground car park.

First Avenue will be a social and retail hub for the Union Properties-developed Electric motor City, with a distinct auto and lifestyle theme. The two-storey advancement stretches throughout 500,000 sq/ft, with a one-kilometre street linking each end. It is located near to Sports City, Arabian Ranches, Al Barari, Silicon Oasis, Nshama, Mudon, Workshop City and Dubai Production City. First Method will be a brief drive from Maktoum International Airport and the Exposition 2020 website. The area has parks, schools and swimming pools.
