Enjoy a weekend of music and art

An international festival of digital creativity and electronic music, MICRO MUTEK.AE is back for its third edition at Alserkal Avenue from 4-5 May. With an all-star line-up of performers like DJ Mathew Jonson and the Salar Ansari Trio with Grammy winner Luis Resto and Pathe Jassi, the showcase promises to be one for the ages. There are more than 30 sound and visual artists expected from around the world. Tune in to hear the collaborative sound of Japanese DJ Satoshi Tomiie, sound designer Kuniyuki and VJ Manami Sakamoto or catch plays by 9T Antiope, Burnt Friedman & João Pais Filipe and Bint Mbareh. There’s also an immersive 360-degree program called Twisted Tree by Sebastien Labrunie at Hemisphere 141, along with installations, panel talks and workshops to provide a platform of creativity.
