2019 Ironman 70.3 Dubai will bring home the fourth edition of Ironman Dubai after the successful completion of the previous editions. The announced date for this gruelling sports event is 1 February 2019.

The city gears up to host a Half Ironman in February with Ironman 70.3 Dubai set to take place right next to the iconic Burj Al Arab that has been the birthplace of celebrations galore. Ironman 70.3 Dubai is not an everyday sport, it is an exuberant experience where athletes from around the world come together to put forth a fire-blazing performance, braving their way through the Gulf waters, Arabian dunes and City Streets.

The best of best sportsmen will get into a neck-to-neck competition as the triathlon kicks off! Ironman 70.3 Dubai is not for the fickle-minded, it is for the staunch, the stubborn, the determined, and the tenacious sportsman, who has the grit and strength to brave through the many challenges before him. The event will open on a bright sunny morning, bathed in the glow of the stunning Burj Al Arab.

The athletes will begin their day hitting the waters first, with a 1.9km swim, a swim course that begins from Jumeira Public Beach. The swim course will be followed by a 90km bike ride. The adventurous ride will take the athletes off from the city all the way to the mysterious endless sands of the desert. The athletes then head for a 21.1km run (that is if they manage to come out of the previous two sessions with all their limbs in place) through the recently completed running trail along Jumeira Beach with spectators and enthusiasts cheering and applauding.
